Matsui announces the introduction of the 3Zone PreclearTM
Matsui America is introducing the new and innovative Preclear system, helping plastics processors prolong life and effectiveness of molds as well as critical infrastructure like chillers, TCU’s and other cooling water components. Preclear consists of a 3 Zone filtering process consisting of 2 zone micro filters and a proprietary 3rd stage ionic filter system. The ionic exchange resin filter is designed to eliminate Sodium (Na) particles as well as Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium, (Mg) the main chemicals leading to hardness in water.
Comparative tests have shown ppm levels of 540 4 months after cleaning in ordinary closed loop water systems, versus 37 ppm in water systems with Preclear installed.
“Preclear helps our customers to decrease cycle time in injection molding, reduce energy consumption in heat exchangers and chillers and generally prolong the lifetime of molds, chillers, TCU’s connectors and hoses”, said Mike Kott,
Head of Customer Success at Matsui America, Inc.
The patented Preclear system does not require any electrical power and is easily installed between the mold and the chiller. The systems are readily available and ship from stock at Matsui America in Hanover Park, IL.
